The BEfest Awards aims to recognise excellence in creative work and the bravery of brands seeking to engage consumers through entertainment.
Mumbrella’s annual BEfest Awards is Australia’s only awards program dedicated to recognising branded entertainment and the way in which brands are using it to connect with consumers beyond traditional advertising.
The 2016 BEfest Awards, hosted on November 10 at The Chauvel in Sydney, saw up to 300 attendees and a rise of 40% in entries. Categories entered include Best Content Strategy, Best Use of Film Craft, Best Branded Publication, Content Company of the Year, and Best Branded Entertainment Fiction and Non-Fiction.
This year also saw the new addition of the Marketing Team of the Year category, which was picked up by Sydney Opera House. The 2016 Grand Prix Award was won by The Monkeys for its UBank-branded TV show ‘All I Need’, who also took home the gold for Best Branded Entertainment (Non-Fiction) and Best Branded Entertainment (Fiction).
Congratulations to the 2016 winners and a thank you to our sponsors and supporters.
